After graduating from the University of Virginia, I bought my first home in Springfield, VA, in 2017 — a townhouse without a deck. With two dogs, that was a problem. After getting a few estimates and seeing how much contractors were charging, I decided to build it myself. Little by little, I found myself spending more time — and more of my hard-earned tips from late nights waiting tables — at the Springfield Home Depot. Before long, I owned just about every tool you could imagine.

     Building had always been part of me. I remember in second grade, walking home from school in Annapolis, Maryland, and heading straight to the garage to “build” things. Craftsmanship wasn’t just a hobby — it was my passion and my purpose.

     After completing my own deck, I began taking on projects for friends, family, and neighbors. One job led to another, and before long, I left the fast-paced restaurant industry that I had grown up in. I spent the next eight years working alongside local construction companies and skilled carpenters, refining my craft.

      Today, I’m proud to be a licensed and bonded Class A contractor, serving my community with the skills I’ve spent a lifetime developing. In 2023, my high school sweetheart and now fiancée, Morgan, and I welcomed our daughter into the world. Fatherhood gave me a new sense of purpose and the motivation to finally build something of my own.

Whether it’s a simple repair or a major renovation, I treat every project as if it were for my own home.
